Clinical trial registries directory

This directory lists clinical trial registries in the WHO registry network. Primary registries meet WHO criteria for content, quality, accessibility, unique identification, technical capacity and administration, and meet ICMJE requirements ¹. Data providers supply records to the ICTRP Search Portal, and WHO notes that it is not itself a registry ². ICMJE accepts any WHO primary registry with the 24-item data set, or ClinicalTrials.gov ³. A trial registration number lets readers link every report of one study. Blank cells mean the page read did not state the fact.
